Berwick-upon-Tweed is celebrating 900 years of history … and everyone’s invited!

How can you get involved?

Berwick 900 is organising a series of Arty-Facts Crafts Workshops

….............................. and everyone’s invited!

Would you like to make a costume for a teddy bear for a friend, family member or yourself?  The teddies will be invited to attend a Teddy Bears’ Picnic during the Berwick 900 festival.  Terri Bearhope has created a knitted pattern for a teddy bear’s sweater which can be used to fit in with some of the Berwick 900 themes. The pattern can be downloaded from the Berwick 900 website www.berwick900.org.uk/bear.html. Patterns are also available from the Needle Works shop in Hide Hill.  Terri will also be providing a workshop for beginners or improvers on Saturday 14th March 10.00am till 2.00pm. This workshop is free, but please bring: £1 for tea/coffee/biscuits, 4mm, 4.5mm or 5mm knitting needles, and at least 50g of 'Double knit' yarn or wool.  Please contact Terri for further details and to book a free place 01289 303212, terribearhope@hotmail.com.
